Water Purifier Questions
What is the difference between a water filter and a water purifier?+
A filter catches particles and improves taste. A purifier, such as reverse osmosis, also removes dissolved salts and most contaminants down to a very fine level. For drinking water in the UAE most households choose an RO purifier; for the whole villa a point-of-entry filter system is usually enough.
How much does a water purifier cost in the UAE?+
Our kitchen purifiers start at AED 900 for ultrafiltration and AED 1,350 for reverse osmosis, fitted. Point-of-entry villa systems start at AED 3,650. Running costs are mainly cartridges, roughly AED 250 a year for a kitchen RO.
Will an RO purifier waste a lot of water?+
Every RO unit sends some water to drain while it purifies. Modern units are far more efficient than older models, and the reject water can be used for cleaning or plants if your plumbing allows.
Can the purifier connect to my KHAZAAN water tank?+
Yes. Point-of-entry systems are fitted on the line between your storage tank and the villa. If you are buying a new tank from us, we can plan the purifier position at the same time.
How long does fitting take?+
A kitchen purifier takes about an hour. A point-of-entry villa system usually takes half a day, depending on pipework. We test the water before we leave.
